The guiding question is part of a scenario of investments in the tourism of sun and beach in the country, and the dominant discourses of a development model “ecologically feasible. The research also imbues the analysis of issues related to the multiple use of water in coastal environments, for tourism and artisan fishing and the creation of Extractive Reserves in the marine biome. Regarding the methodology, the article is based on exploratory research, allowing the approximation with the phenomenon investigated in experiments of empirical research projects. Among the main research notes it is possible to identify relationships between fishing and tourism in coastal areas, where the strength of tourism, compared with the context of fisheries crisis, demand new socio-spatial configurations to suit the new actor introduced: the tourist.Downloads
