Abstract

The importance of research on this subject is primarily social, because it is an analysis of tourist facilities in relation to a public that suffers many difficulties, which are people with special needs. To carry out the research was used the inductive method with application of the techniques of research in primary and secondary sources, field research, observation for data collection and photographic records. On tourism, the survey resulted in an analysis of the structural conditions of tourist facilities, which evaluated whether the developed tourism in Belém-PA offers accessibility to the portion of people with special needs in society. Accessibility must also be present in tourism, because the tourist who has limited mobility can not always stay in hotels, going to beaches, restaurants, museums and other tourist facilities due to lack of adequate access. Therefore, eliminate barriers to ensure access means spaces that meet any special needs and the planning for local tourism universal and inclusive.
