Environmental liability in hotel industry: towards a study of coastal route of Natal, RN

As a result of the expansion of tourism in recent years and access to leisure and entertainment, there has been greater opportunities of knowledge for and about new cultures, and the increase of social and environmental actions that establish directly or no relationships with the activity of tourism. Thus, it is remarkable to emphasize that this activity has been seen by some as a factor of development, economic growth and also cause many impacts. But will the tourism companies treat all of these variables with responsibility? Social inclusion and good stewardship of the environment are measures that need to be worked urgently by the various actors involved in tourism. Thus, the analysis and identification of actions and environmental responsibility practiced by entrepreneurs in the hotel located on coastal route in Natal/RN, set itself the aim of this study to perform the proposed work, which it is essentially a search qualitative which included conducting interviews with the managers of these enterprises. In general, the results of this research pointed out that although shy and still require improvements, hotels of coastal route in Natal practice actions about environmental responsibility, social and corporate enterprise in town and with its employees.Downloads
