Tourism and territory: relationships and complexities
Keywords:
Turismo, Território, Planejamento,Abstract
This essay aims at organizing in a preliminary manner some epistemological reflections of the author on the tourism phenomenon and his relationships and interrelationships with space from his studies and his experience in planning and management of tourist destinations. Therefore, he adopts a dialogical methodological approach, taking the paradigm of complexity by Edgar Morin as a philosophical basis. Without losing sight of tourism as a complex phenomenon characteristic of contemporaneity, he examines some of the pairs of study categories: space-territory, planning-management and phenomenon-activity, seeking to prove their complementary and recursive relations, without forgetting its dialectics contradictions. Because it is still a preliminary essay it has no conclusive issue, making room for new dialogues about the thematic focus selected.Downloads
