Os impactos socioambientais de uma festa rave em uma unidade de conservação

Abstract:
The Rave parties are electronic music festivals of long duration, which attract a growing audience. In Minas Gerais, in 2004, businessmen from the area had innovated the style of party, mixing electronic music with the "natural" landscape. Thus, they had created in Ipoema, district of Itabira city / MG, the greatest festival of electronic music of the state of Minas Gerais, well- known as Cachoeira Alta Dance Festival. Consequently, the objective of this article is to analyze the social and environmental impacts caused by the party to the APA Santo Antônio in Ipoema. To this end, theoretical referentials of support were adopted to sustain and exploratory research that provided a better understanding of the event and the mentioned APA. In addition to discussing the electronic interference of the event, it was also sought to raise all the tourist potential of the region. In conclusion, it was verified that even if the event will bring some positive points, as the increase of economic flow during the festival, the negative impacts are more present.
