Abstract:
This study has as a focus to immerge it self in learning the importance in the relationship of the natural resources for the sustainability of the tourism in the region of Ilha das Caieiras, Vitória, ES. Having as an objective to show the importance of the infrastructure for local development, as how the importance of environmental preservation for the continuity of the local cooperative. Investigating the relationship of the cooperative of crab butchers in the process of urban development, analyzing the natural environment and the social reality of this group, there have been many suggestions as to new ways to minimize de degradation of the local mangrove, in which tourism structures it self, so that the image of the cooperative connects it self with environmental protection and the local cuisine. As a result of this research, we can notice that the mangrove and tourism are essential for the community, because is from tourism of the mangrove that is extracted the livelihood of most of the community, this way creating a local commitment with the environment and the ecosystem the surrounds them.
