Turismo de negócios: uma análise do setor em Piracicaba/SP

Abstract:
Corporate tourism increases constantly adding many cities to the tourist market. Due to its singular characteristics, comparing to other types of tourism, and also due to its few researches in the area, this article proposes to present the corporate tourism in Piracicaba, located in the Estate of Sao Paulo, from the point of view of companies. Therefore, after bibliographical research questionnaires were applied to the 30 biggest exporting companies in Piracicaba. Results revealed that, although there is an important tourist flow in this area, the city is not prepared to receive business tourists in many tourism sectors.
