Educação e sensibilização no espaço urbano: turismo em torno do jardim

Abstract:
This research, of a qualitative nature aimed to point out the urban space ressignification possibilities, utilizing the art and the recreation to implement sensibility about local tourism. The study was consisted of two phases: a literature review about the thematic and the second one was related to an exploratory research, developed by an action-research, fomenting the project “Ribeirão Preto Turístico”. This project consisted of an art exposition, aggregating a competitive game applied in the official schools. Data were descriptively analyzed and suggested that those strategies can implement the sense of apprehension of the city as a touristic potential, being crucial an interdisciplinary action, aiming to implement public politics and amplifying the local tourism.
