A função turística do patrimônio: questionamentos sobre a idéia de sustentabilidade do turismo cultural

Resumo

Busca estabelecer uma relação entre o discurso que funda o patrimônio histórico com o que o vende nos tempos atuais, com o advento do turismo cultural. Para isso,através de uma abordagem teórica, demonstra como a formação do patrimônio esta relacionada com interesses políticos e ideológicos, sendo o turismo, um elemento que vem influenciar nesta dinâmica. Assim, acredita-se que a utilização do patrimônio pela atividade turística abre a possibilidade tanto para a manutenção de modelos de desenvolvimento onde poucos ganham, como para a implementação de modelos sustentáveis onde a população participa e tem sua cultura valorizada. Sendo a participação das comunidades no planejamento turístico, um aspecto fundamental para que o turismo cultural se torne uma estratégia de desenvolvimento sustentável.

Abstract:

Search to establish a relation enters the speech that establishes the historic site with what vende in the current times, with the advent of the cultural tourism. For this, through a theoretical boarding, it demonstrates as the formation of the patrimony this related with interests ideological politicians and, being the tourism, an element that comes to influence in this dynamics. Thus, it is given credit that the use of the patrimony for the tourist activity in such a way opens the possibility for the maintenance of development models where few earn, as for the implementation of sustainable models where the population participates and has its valued culture. Being the participation of the communities in the tourist planning, a basic aspect so that the cultural tourism if becomes a strategy of sustainable development.
