Impactos ambientais e sócio-culturais do turismo de segunda residência: o caso de Ponta da Tulha, Ilhéus, BA

Resumo

Ao assumir que o turismo constitui uma atividade complexa com múltiplas relações econômicas, sociais, políticas e culturais, o presente texto se propõe a detectar e analisar as repercussões sócio-espaciais do turismo de segunda residência. Sua expansão em escala mundial vem provando mudanças importantes nos locais onde se desenvolve. No Brasil, os primeiros estudos sobre esse fenômeno datam do final dos anos 1980. Entretanto várias questões permanecem em aberto. A partir de um exemplo, o do povoado de “Ponta da Tulha”, Aritaguá, Ilhéus, Costa do Cacau, Sul da Bahia, define-se um conjunto de questões que podem servir para uma agenda de pesquisas sobre o tema, considerando os aspectos ambientais e socioculturais, bem como, a inexistência de planejamento urbano em locais com essas características.

Abstract:

Assuming that the tourism constitutes a complex activity with multiple economic, social, politics, cultural relations, and the present text considers to detect and to analyze the repercussions of social-space of the tourism on second residence. Its expansion in world-wide scale comes proving important changes in the places where it develops. In Brazil, the first studies on this phenomenon date at the end of years of 1980. However some questions remain in open. From an example, the town of "Ponta da Tulha", Aritaguá, Ilhéus, Costa do Cacau, Sul da Bahia, is set of questions that can be for an agend of research on the subject, considering the ambient and sociocultural aspects, as well as, the inexistence of urban planning in places with these characteristics.
