Patrimônio e Educação Patrimonial numa perspectiva humano-genérica

Resumo

Este artigo tem como proposta realizar uma discussão introdutória sobre as possibilidades de mediação da atividade turística para o desenvolvimento de um projeto de educação patrimonial baseado nos usos do patrimônio cultural. Como objeto privilegiado do campo intelectual do Turismo, o patrimônio cultural, em sua grande maioria, vem sendo tratado de modo funcionalista, ou seja, apenas segundo a sua função para o fenômeno turístico, como, por exemplo, os impactos do turismo sobre o patrimônio, assim como o potencial dos patrimônios para a atração de demandas turísticas. Aqui o que se pretende é discutir que o patrimônio cultural, como produto da atividade humana (o trabalho), deve ser democratizado para a população, no sentido de que este patrimônio seja apropriado pelos homens e componha nestes o desenvolvimento humano-genérico. A discussão conseqüente a esta é que se faz necessária e urgente uma proposta responsável de trabalho de educação patrimonial com vistas a este objetivo, visando auxiliar na luta contra a alienação maciça da população privada do acesso a este patrimônio humano.

Abstract:

This essay has as proposal to approach an introductory quarrel on the possibilities of mediation of the tourist activity for the development of a based project of heritage education in the uses of the cultural heritage. As privileged object of the intellectual field of the Tourism, the cultural patrimony, in its great majority, it comes being treat to functionalist method, that is, only according to its function for the tourist phenomenon, as, for example, the impacts of the tourism on the heritage, as well as the potential of the heritages for the attraction of tourist demands. Here what if it intends is to argue that the cultural heritage, as product of the human activity, must be democratized for the population, in the direction of that this heritage is appropriate for the men and composes in these the human being-generic development. The consequent quarrel to this is that if it makes necessary and urgent a proposal responsible of work of heritage education with sights to this objective, aiming at to assist in the fight against the massive alienation of the private population of the access to this human heritage.
