Abstract:
This essay has as proposal to approach an introductory quarrel on the possibilities of mediation of the tourist activity for the development of a based project of heritage education in the uses of the cultural heritage. As privileged object of the intellectual field of the Tourism, the cultural patrimony, in its great majority, it comes being treat to functionalist method, that is, only according to its function for the tourist phenomenon, as, for example, the impacts of the tourism on the heritage, as well as the potential of the heritages for the attraction of tourist demands. Here what if it intends is to argue that the cultural heritage, as product of the human activity, must be democratized for the population, in the direction of that this heritage is appropriate for the men and composes in these the human being-generic development. The consequent quarrel to this is that if it makes necessary and urgent a proposal responsible of work of heritage education with sights to this objective, aiming at to assist in the fight against the massive alienation of the private population of the access to this human heritage.
