Parque Estadual da Pedra da Boca/PB: um olhar sobre o planejamento do ecoturismo em Unidades de Conservação na Paraíba

Resumo

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a criação do Parque Estadual da Pedra da Boca,
localizado no município de Araruna − PB, concentrando as atenções nas atividades desenvolvidas
no Parque; em especial, as práticas ecoturísticas existentes, considerando suas implicações
socioambientais; avaliar as potencialidades e as fragilidades do ambiente, bem como analisar
os possíveis impactos ambientais e, por último, sugerir medidas técnicas fundamentadas com o
objetivo de solucionar ou minimizar a situação atual do ambiente em estudo, dentro dos objetivos
reais que regem o Sistema Nacional de Unidades de Conservação (SNUC, Lei nº 9.985, 2000). Para
a concretização deste estudo foram desenvolvidas as seguintes etapas: Seleção do material
bibliográfico e cartográfico; Reconhecimento de campo; Coleta de dados sobre os aspectos
físicos, turísticos e socioculturais do local. Os dados obtidos demonstram que a APA conta com
um potencial natural notável para o turismo, em especial o ecoturismo; porém, precisa-se que
ações emergenciais sejam colocadas em prática, para assim poder compatibilizar a atividade
ecoturística e a preservação da natureza, ambas pautadas no desenvolvimento sustentável,
respeitando os limites que a natureza impõe na sua dinâmica natural.

Abstract:


The present works had as objective analyzes the creation of the Parque Estadual da Pedra da
Boca, concentrating the attentions in the activities developed in the Park, especially, the existent ecotourist practices, considering their social-environmental implications to evaluate the potentialities
and the fragilities of the atmosphere, as well as to analyze the possible environmental impacts
and last, to suggest technical measures based with the objective of to solve or to minimize the
current situation of the atmosphere inside in study of the real objectives that govern the National
System of Units of Conservation (SNUC, Law 9.985, 2000). For the materialization of this study the
following stages were developed: Selection of the bibliographical and cartographic material;
Field recognition; It collects of data on the aspects physical, tourist and socio-cultural of the place.
The obtained data demonstrate that APA counts with a potential natural notable for the tourism,
especially the ecotourism, however, the emergency actions is put in practice, for like this
needs to can joint the ecotourist activity and the preservation of the nature, both
ruled in the maintainable development, respecting the limits that the nature imposes in his/her
natural dynamics.
