A exploração econômica do setor de turismo e os efeitos nos serviços sanitários do litoral paranaense

Resumo

A região litorânea paranaense tem acusado um crescimento populacional expressivo que cau-sa pressão sobre toda a infra-estrutura urbana, em especial para os municípios de Matinhos, Pontal do Paraná e Guaratuba. Desta infra-estrutura se destaca negativamente aquela que se referente aos serviços de esgoto pela sua pouca expansão que impede a disponibilidade para todas as residências permitindo um tratamento adequado das águas residuárias e, por conse-qüência, afetando a qualidade da água nos balneários e podendo comprometer a saúde pública na região. Este pode ser um efeito decorrente da falta de planejamento ou por uma escolha inadequada para o desenvolvimento sustentável desta região. De uma maneira ou de outra, a responsabilidade recai sobre o gestor público local pela falta de sensibilidade e visão nas a-ções públicas de gerenciamento dos municípios e sobre a população residente pela falta de educação e de fazer exigir a sua participação nas decisões locais de seu interesse. Ambos são responsáveis pelos efeitos danosos decorrentes do uso irracional dos recursos naturais desta região.

Abstract:

The paranaense littoral region has accused a expressivo population growth that cause pressure on all the urban infrastructure, in special for the cities of Mati-nhos, Pontal of the Paraná and Guaratuba. Of this infrastructure if it negative detaches that one that if referring to the ser-vices of sewer for its little expansion that hinders the availability for all the residences allow-ing an adequate treatment them residuary waters e, for consequence, affecting the quality of the water in the health-resorts and being able to compromise the public health in the region. This can be a decurrent effect of the lack of planning or for an inadequate choice for the sus-tainable development of this region. The one or another one, the responsibility falls again on the local public manager for the lack of sensitivity and vision into the criminal actions of management of the cities and on the resident population for the education lack and to make to demand its participation in the local decisions of its interest. Both are responsible for the de-current harmful effect of the use irrational of the natural resources of this region.
