Aqüicultura aliada ao turismo como alternativa de lazer e fonte de renda

Resumo

Considerando a extensa área costeira no Brasil, a aqüicultura juntamente com o turismo pode se tornar uma viável alternativa para incremento de renda. Beneficiando tanto as populações de entorno, que aproveitariam as novas oportunidades de trabalho, quanto empresários, que ganhariam renda extra e visibilidade no mercado. Assim, esse trabalho se propôs a descrever algumas possibilidades de desenvolvimento de turismo aliado as diferentes atividades aqüícolas, apontando a viabilidade de criação de vínculos do turista-consumidor com o produtor. Considerando essencial a integração da aqüicultura, turismo, economia e planejamento, mas constatando que seu desenvolvimento está limitado por falta de políticas sociais, de marketing, incapacidade institucional e/ou empresarial e por problemas de infra-estrutura. Esses importantes aspectos limitantes deverão ser abordados com maior atenção no futuro, para que a junção do turismo e aqüicultura se constitua em melhoria das condições sócio-econômicas da população, alternativa de lazer e turismo e sobretudo investimentos no setor produtivo de alimentos no Brasil.

Abstract:

If we consider the huge coastal area in Brazil, the aquaculture combined with tourism became a valuable alternative as an income source. The local communities will take advantage in many new sources of work, like local business getting extra income and visibility in the market. So this study main focus is to describe some possibilities to development of tourism allied with different aquaculture activities, showing that is viable the establishment of interactions between tourists-consumers with producers and they enterprises. Considering essential the integration of aquaculture, tourism, economy and planning, but showing the slow development of then because the lack of social politics, bad marketing, business incapability and infrastructure problems. This important aspects should be approached in the future to improve the standards of life in coastal communities, establishment of a recreation alternative and contribute to investments on the food industry in Brazil.
