Pólo ecoturístico de Taquaruçu (TO): uma proposta de modernidade

Resumo

O presente artigo objetiva discutir a implantação do Pólo Ecoturístico de Taquaruçu a partir da visão de modernidade apresentada pela Prefeitura Municipal de Palmas, através da Agência de Meio Ambiente e Turismo - AMATUR. Considera-se que, para esta comunidade, a implantação do Pólo Ecoturístico não deve significar sofisticação. O processo requer mudanças na infra-estrutura do lugar com o compromisso da não expropriação da população, dos seus recursos naturais, devendo, pois o Pólo, representar um espaço agregador onde a comunidade possa participar de todo o processo, usufruindo os benefícios gerados e tendo seus valores sócio-culturais e ambientais, respeitados.

Abstract:

The present article aims at to discuss the implantation of the Ecoturistic Pole of Taquaruçu starting from the modernity's vision presented by the Municipal City hall of Palmas, through the Agency of Environment and Tourism - AMATUR. It is considered that, for this community, the implantation of the Ecoturistic Pole should not mean sophistication. The process requests changes in the infrastructure of the place with the commitment of the non expropriation of the population, of its natural resources, owing, the Pole, represent a joining space, where the community can participate of the whole process, enjoying the generated benefits and having its socio-cultural and environmental values, respected.
