Uma abordagem crítica da atividade turística

Resumo

O turismo nos moldes que se apresenta atualmente vem despertando um crescente interesse da sociedade desde o século XIX. Porém, apenas no século XX, com os avanços tecnológicos, que a atividade se consolidou. Com o crescimento no número de pessoas viajando a lazer no século passado, pesquisadores interessados no fenômeno passaram a refletir sobre seus efeitos não só econômicos, como também sociais, ecológicos e culturais. Este artigo constitui-se em um ensaio, o qual fundamentando-se nestas abordagens teóricas que enfatizam não apenas os efeitos econômicos do turismo, mas o compreende de maneira sistêmica, busca analisar criticamente as influências do turismo em comunidades receptoras.

Abstract:

The tourism in the molds where it presents currently calls the interest of the society since century XIX. However, only in century XX, with the technological advances, the activity had consolidated. The growth in the number of people travelling to leisure in the passed century, calls the attention of researchers to the phenomenon, reflectinf not only economic effects, as also social, ecological and cultural. This article consists in an paper thats basing itself on these theoretical boardings that not only emphasize the only the tourism economic effect, but it understands it like a system, has the objective to analyze the tourism influences in receiving communities.
